To the Kings of Baseball. This night was created to invite a group of people not commonly found in our seats. There is a history there...an open wound still tender. Although there is a rich history of baseball in black culture, it would be hard to believe on any given night at the ballpark. As if stripped away, right out the hands of skillful men to be given to the next. Stolen are memories of young blacks playing catch with their fathers. First baseball games never to be had amongst a generation. This is my tribute.
